千葉県船橋市を拠点として活動するアルファモニック吹奏楽団の創立３５周年記念のための委嘱作品として作曲された序曲。冒頭に奏でられる、やや異質なファンファーレは団体名称である“アルファモニック”のスペルである“ＡＬＰＨＡＭＯＮＩＣ”によるもの。八木澤教司氏はＭ.ラヴェルがハイドンの名前を音に変えて作曲したように“ラ・ミ・シ・ラ・ラ・ファ・ラ・ソ・シ・ド”と委嘱団体名を楽譜に刻むため音に変換し、音楽全体に展開させている。このような作曲意図からタイトルも団体名がそのまま使用されている。2010年10月、作曲者の客演指揮、同団によって世界初演されている。
